About Us – Ethical Foundation Trust

Ethical Foundation Trust has been created to promote resident’s collective initiatives and innovations with the mission - Shreshth Community (Great Community) and Active and empowered residents.

It was registered in early 2019 with the goal of establishing civil societies in all the communities and spreading TALASH messages. Innovating various programs under the umbrella programs हम-निवासी, facilitation of resident’s meeting and TALASH monthly first Sunday meeting, Ethical Foundation has shown impacts of resident’s collective initiatives at the very local level. Impact report of हम-निवासी and Niwasi Sabha programs is attached. Currently working with two field facilitator staff in Patna and near-by areas it has attracted attention of various organisations and prominent individuals.

Field facilitator staff are also encouraged to be Bridge Business Partner, as they are in contact with different stakeholders in the community.

Mission is: Shreshth Community (Great Community).

Key messages: हम-निवासी, मिलें कुछ करें. (we residents, meet and act collectively).

Goal: Collective initiatives of the residents easy and effective! Residents collectively achieve ‘great community’ for themselves

– basic level of achievement for all like basic-learning, immunisation, healthy life, basic-nutrition, human rights, leisure, developed nation, healthy environment... All people receive skill education, employment, social security benefits...the
best common services and facilities in their community – schools, hospitals, sanitation, solid-waste collection, drainage, counselling, legal services... the best public infrastructure like road, rail, sports, garbage landfill etc...

Further details:

How do we facilitate resident’s meeting ? – ‘Resident’s Meetings’ has to be agenda driven. It is based on the written agenda and recorded decisions. Decisions are in two sections.

  • Section 1 ‘What will resident themselves do’ and
  • Section 2 ‘What information, expectation or complaint residents will send to their local, state, or national governments or service providers’.

In a community (in the local geography), if residents want some new public service-facility or want to solve any challenge that they face, we propose they follow the following steps so that they collectively address such issues.

  1. residents write their agenda in an agenda form ->
  2. collect information on the agenda status quickly ->
  3. make a status report for their community ->
  4. agenda is taken for discussion in the resident’s meeting ->
  5. discuss status report on agenda in the ‘resident-meeting’ ->
  6. decide together ->
  7. take some collective initiatives or do something collectively to fulfil their decision.
